School of Life and Environmental Sciences (SoLES)

Approved by Senate December 2015 - the Schools of Biological Sciences and Molecular Biosciences joined, with academics from the Faculties of Veterinary Science and Agriculture and Environment to form the School of Life and Environmental Sciences (SoLES) within the Faculty of Science.

The school aims to generate knowledge about the diversity, function and health of living systems from the molecular to the ecosystem scale, and to investigate the driving forces behind such change as evolution, behaviour and molecular interactions as well as the direct impact of human activities.
