Australian Museum Trust Correspondence and Related Records [Archibald Liversidge] (Series 1542)

This series documents Liversidge's appointment as trustee of the Australian Museum. The Trust was responsible to the NSW Government Department of Public Instruction. The papers in this series have been arranged in the following items:
1: Letters received in 1878, some original, some copies.
2: Letters received between 1879 and 1892.
3: Letters received from the Australian Museum, mostly copies of agenda papers, some annotated, date range 1879-1902.
4-5: Letters received/drafts of letters and working papers in Liversidge's hand relating to the Trust's resolution of January 1878 that "Liversidge be requested to dispose, by exchange, of specimens and casts sent to the Paris Exhibition for the benefit of this Museum".
6: Correspondence between Liversidge and the Australian Museum after his resignation from the Museum Trust in 1908.
7: Working papers (1892-1895/undated) petaining to the Australian Museum Trust.
