Australian Imperial Forces [Tannatt William Edgeworth (TWE) David] (Series 1488)

This series contains papers received or authored by TWE David in his capacity as an officer in the Australian Infantry Forces (AIF), initially as a major in the Mining Corps and later as a lieutenant-colonel and geologist to the engineer-in-chief. There are two items of papers in their original folders, one labelled "Ashford Tubes", the other "Alfred H Brooks"..."German Geology"; correspondence received by David from Brooks has been retained in this folder. Brooks was appointed geologist to the American armies in 1917.
