Annual Reports [Sydney College of the Arts (SCA) Council] (Series 614)

Annual reports were presented by the Sydney College of the Arts to the New South Wales Minister for Education on 31 March each year to fulfil reporting requirements under the Colleges of Advanced Education Act 1975. The reports outline the proceedings of the College Council and the activities and events of the College for the preceding year. The reports also provide information about the history of the College, its academic and administrative governance and structure, a current staff list, financial reports and student enrolment statistics. The reports to 1984 include a list of the year's graduands. Reports are held for the years 1976/1977 to 1985. Central files 147 Volumes 1 and 2: Annual Reports 1977 onwards and a copy from Accession 2396 have been added to this series to complete its run. On 1 January 1988 upon dissolution of the College, the School of Arts together with the City Arts Institute became part of the New South Wales Institute of the Arts and was no longer required to submit a report separate to that of the Institute. The 1988 Annual Report of the New South Wales Institute of the Arts is included, it was part of the annual report run kept at the School's office.
