Student Affairs Committee [New South Wales College of Paramedical Studies Academic Board]

The Student Affairs Committee was a sub-committee of the Academic Board of the College. Some of its functions were ensuring that the point of view of students on academic matters discussed by committees with no student representation is discussed and acted upon; provision of an impartial atmosphere for considering the adequacy of academic consultations between staff and students; discussion of suitability of proposals for the timing of the year's program; consideration of adequacy of class rooms, student rooms, and the resource centre for efficient learning; provision of information concerning scholarships and other financial aid available to students; enquiry into the need for student counselling, health and housing and the provision of information on this matter.
