Advisory Committee for Honorary Awards

This committee was one of the Standing Committees of Senate in 1989. 

The committees role was to consider suggestions annually for honorary degrees and honorary fellowships, and submit a report and recommendations to Senate. Its membership comprised:

Ex-officio: The Chancellor (Chair), the Deputy Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor and Principal, the Chair of the Academic Board, the deputy vice-chancellors (non voting) and not more than six other fellows, elected by Senate.
