Centre for Disability Research and Policy (CDRP)

The Centre for Disability Research and Policy (CDRP) was officially established for a period of 5 years from March 2012 to March 2017 (approved by Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Stephen Garton, 22 March 2012, DOC2012/165996). The University Executive Officer for the Centre was Professor Archie Johnston, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies. The Centre was to undergo a Self-Examination after 2 years and a more comprehensive review after a period of 5 years. After the Self Evaluation the Centre received approval for continuation for the remainder of the 5 years and the transfer of the University Officers (Centres) role from the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies to the Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences, Professor Kathy Refshauge.
