The University farms are essential in supporting the teaching and research activities of the School of Veterinary Science, the School of Life and Environmental Sciences (SoLES) and the Sydney Institute of Agriculture.
Coates Park Farm and the other Bringelly sites (Greendale School, John Bruce Pye (JB Pye) Farm and Wolverton Farm) comprise 466 hectares of beef cattle fattening enterprises.
