War Memorial Committee Minutes

The volume includes the minutes of a Senate committee to enquire into a privately subscribed War Memorial; the War Memorial Committee; the War Memorial Executive; the Finance Subcommittee; the Structure Subcommittee; the Inscriptions Subcommittee; and the Carillon Executive Committee.

In addition to the raising of money to purchase the Carillon, the Committees also gave consideration to the creation of a Muniment Room and a Book of Remembrance. The appointments of the two Honorary Archivists was covered as well as that of the various Honorary Carillonists.
