Records Relating to Fossil Fauna of South Australia [Tannatt William Edgeworth (TWE) David] (Series 1462)

This series contains three field notebooks: Item 1 is dated 23 March to 5 April 1930, Item 2 is dated April 1933, and Item 3 is dated 1929. The series also includes drafts of letters; scripts for publication and working papers handwritten by TWE David; typescripts annotated by David; a copy of David's paper on newly discovered fossils in the Adelaide series of rock strata in South Australia published in 1928 in the "Transactions of the Royal Society of South Australia". Volume lii; handwritten (and some typescript copy) descriptions of specimens by Miss Dorothy M Yorke; and a handwritten note stating "Material used by LAC and WRB in editing book (TWED & RJT) published by Angus and Robertson" - it was not possible to determine which papers comprised the "material" in question. The loose folios arranged numerically where possible.
