3 volumes of Lecture notes on inorganic chemistry compiled by JA Schofield when a science student in London, and, 1 folder of correspondence relating to consultancy in 1909-1910.

James Alexander Schofield, Associate of the Royal School of Mines, was appointed to a demonstratorship in Chemistry in September 1891 (Report of the Senate 1892, Senate Minutes Feb 1892). Subsequently, he became Associate Professor. The Schofield bequest is currently administered by the School of Chemistry.
