Minutes [Faculty of Science] (Series 34)

The series contains minutes (hard copy with microfilm copies, and electronic) of the Faculty, which record attendees and business dealt with. Subject to the authority of Senate and the Academic Board, faculties determined all matters concerning degrees and diplomas in their faculty. They also considered and reported on all matters referred to it by Senate, the Vice-Chancellor or the Academic Board and could of their own motion report to the Academic Board on all matters relating to research, studies, lectures, examinations, degrees and diplomas in the faculty. G3/3/3 contains the minutes of the meetings of the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Science Standing Committee and the Postgraduate Studies Committee. All bounded volumes with earlier minutes with a mixture of handwritten minutes and sections which have been typed and glued in. The later volumes are typed and bounded. The minutes from 2000 onwards are electronic.
