Minutes [Senate] (Series 1)

The minutes of Senate are the official records of meetings of the University of Sydney Senate.

There is no agenda for the minutes until the 1970s. The early minutes are handwritten and volumes can cover multiple years. From 1971-2007 onwards each meeting of Senate was bound separately. There are meetings which cover two months and it may appear from the spine details that there is a volume missing, but in fact is two meetings in one volume.

Years 1851-2007 are in hard copy and bound in volumes, and from 2008 onward are in electronic format. There are hard copy signed minutes for 2014-2019.

Series 8 [G1/8] Report Books is a related series. The books contains reports from standing, special or faculty committees that have been presented to Senate. These reports are either noted in the Senate minutes as having been received or a copy of the reports has been included in the Senate minutes.
