Minutes [Board of Dental Studies] (Series 94)

1 bound volume of minutes recording the meetings of the Board of Dental Studies. The minutes document meetings on 12 February 1901; 24 August 1903, at which the Board recommended to Senate the amending of By-Laws to change the curriculum in the Department of Dentistry leading to the Degree Bachelor of Dental Surgery; 23 November 1904, at which Senate's disapproval of the introduction of the degree was reported - the meeting amended the proposed curriculum for submission to Senate along with a report (to be prepared by a subcommittee) urging that Senate reconsider a degree; 4 July 1906; 28 June 1910; 20 May 1912; 14 November 1912, at which it was resolved to ask Senate to establish a Chair of Dentistry; 16 July 1913, minutes not signed.

The Board was succeeded by the Faculty of Dentistry in 1920. This incomplete set of minutes records meeting dates, attendees, matters discussed in relation to the studies, lectures, examinations, and degrees and such questions as may have been referred to it by Senate, resolutions, and reports from various committees and subcommittees.
