Office Papers [Aboriginal Education Centre/Koori Centre] (Series 1162)

This series consists of papers kept in the offices of the Aboriginal Education Centre/Koori Centre and were transferred to the Archives from the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous Strategy and Services).

The series contains some folders but most papers are loose, unsorted, and relate to the establishment and development of the Centre over time, course development and involvement in projects. The records consist of originals and copies of correspondence, memoranda, news cuttings, brochures, course material as well as copies of reports, and some reference material. The records cover general planning, Aboriginal education, the establishment of the Centre, various stages of its development and changes, programs run, staffing, accommodation, funding, preparation of workshops and courses as well as operational plans.
