Minutes [Dairy Husbandry Research Foundation Council] (Series 113)

The objectives of the Dairy Husbandry Research Foundation Council are to provide a forum for discussion and investigation of problems of the dairy industry, act as liaison between industry and the University, assist in the provision of finance for research in the University into the problems of the dairying industry, to encourage and finance of advanced teaching of dairy husbandry and these minutes reflect these objectives.

It is unclear where the minutes of the Council and Dairy Husbandry Research Foundation start and end, and so there will be overlap with Series 112 (SRS-00000112). There is also overlap with Series 969 (SRS-00000969), as that series contains correspondence associated with council meetings that this series does not have. 

This series is an incomplete set of minutes in various formats, including microfilm. There are no minutes from 1994 to 2007. 

There are 3 bound volumes of minutes with some overlap, dated 1959 to 1984. There are loose agenda for council meetings held on 27 November 1998 and minutes for a council meeting held on 18 December 1997 with Volume 3 of the bound council minutes. Registered files 037/0003/00004-01, 037/0003/00004-02 and 037/0003/00004-03 have council minutes, dated 11/07/1984 to 16/06/1993 (037/0003/00004-01, 28/06/1979 to 07/11/1985). It is unclear if this is a complete set of minutes within the files as the files contain letters, correspondence, Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Executive minutes as well.
