Faculty of Veterinary Science Board of Clinical Studies

It was decided by the Vice Chancellor on 26 September 1947 after consultations with Professor HR Carne and Professor RMC Gunn, that the veterinary hospitals and clinics at the vet school and the McGarvie Smith Farm should be under the direction of a Board of Clinical Studies.

The Dean reported that at the meeting of the Faculty of Veterinary Science on 12 August 1961, that the Board of Clinical Studies should be replaced by a permanent committee reporting to the Faculty and having functions of incorporating all 4th and 5th year subjects and ensuring equitable sharing of common facilities.
