Accreditation Committee [New South Wales State Conservatorium of Music]

The NSW Cabinet gave approval to the Conservatorium to formerly accredit private music teachers with the appropriate qualifications and/or experience. The Accreditation Committee was established by the Board of Governors to consider applications by private music teachers. Following a meeting of the NSW Conservatorium Accreditation Committee on 25 October 1976, members of the Music Teachers Association, formerly the Musical Association of NSW were given accreditation by the Conservatorium. In December each year the Conservatorium issued a booklet listing all accreditated teachers.
