Nurse Education Advisory Committee [Sydney Teachers College (STC)]

At the meeting of Sydney Teachers College Council of 7 September 1978, the Nurse Education Advisory Committee was recognised as a Committee of Council. Its terms of reference and membership approved by a later meeting of Council (9 October 1978). The terms of reference were to advise Council on all matters relating to Nurse Eucation.

The Committee was composed of the Vice Principal of the College, College Secretary, Head of Nursing Studies, five people nominated by Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and five nominated by the Principal.

There was an earlier Nurse Education Committee (minutes of first meeting on Teachers College file 78/1529) which first met in December 1975. It had representatives from Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as well as staff from the Teachers College.
