Intercollegiate Board [Sydney Teachers College (STC)]

The Intercollegiate Board had control over all matters relating to intercollegiate (mostly sporting) contests. It consisted of the Vice-Principal, five members of staff, the president, hon. secretary, hon. treasurer and hon. assistant treasurer of the College Council; the president, hon. secretary hon. assistant secretary of the Sports Union; and the hon. secretaries of the clubs competing in the contests.

In 1927 triangular contests were held between Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne Teachers Colleges. These events were basket ball and hockey for women, tennis for men and women, athletics for men and a debate. It appears that the first of the interstate triangular contests were held in 1926.
