Strategic Planning Group [Sydney College of Advanced Education (SCAE)]

At its meeting of 20 June 1988 the SCAE Council resolved to form a committee to represent the College on a projected joint committee with the University of Sydney to discuss possible future relationships. This committee consisted of the President of Council, the Deputy President, the Principal, Deputy Principal, a member elected by the College Academic Board, the College Secretary, the Business manager and one representative each of the Lecturers Association and the Public Service Association. At this meeting the Principal announced his intention to form a Strategic Advisory Committee. It would appear that these two committees were merged into the one body.
