Sydney Institute of Education (SIE)

The Sydney Institute of Education (SIE) was known as the Sydney Teachers College (STC) until 1982, when it became known as SIE, one of five founding institutes within the Sydney College of Advanced Education (SCAE). On 1 January 1990, SIE was amalgamated with the University of Sydney and was integrated into the Faculty of Education.
