Board of Studies for the Degree of Master of Education

University Calendar 1949, p 103, By Laws Chapter Xb

"1. There shall be a degree of Masters of Education" (M.Ed)...

4. The award of the degree shall be supervised by a Board of Studies consisting of the Chairman of the Professorial Board, the professor of Education, the Lecturers in Education, the Deans of the Faculties of Arts, Science, Agriculture, Economics and Engineering and the professors of History, Philosophy, Psychology and anthropology. Applications for admission to candidature shall be made to this Board."

Membership of the Board can be found in University Calendar 1967 p32 and each year until 1977 p21 when it seems to become Board of Studies in Education.
