Board of Studies for the Degree of Bachelor of Education

Membership of the Board can be found in University Calendar 1967 p33 and each year up until 1977 p21 when it no longer appears.

University Calendar 1975 By Laws Chapter Xc p 145

1. There shall be a degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)

2. The award of the degree shall be supervised by a Board of Studies in Education consisting of the Chairman of the Professorial Booard, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and three members of the Faculty of Arts appointed by the Professorial Board on the recommendation of the Faculty of Arts, the Dean of the Faculty of Science and three members of the Faculty of Science appointed by the Professorial Board on the recommendation of the Faculty of Science, , the Professors of Education, three members of the teaching staff of the Department of Education appointed by the Professorial Board on the recommendation of the Head of the Department, three other University teachers appointed by the Professorial Board and such members of the teaching profession as may be co-opted by the aforesaid members.Any person appointed to the Board shall hold office for two years and shall be eligible for re-appointment.
