Dunston, Arthur John (AJ)

Arthur John Dunston MA (Cambridge) BA (Reading) was appointed Professor of Latin 30 December 1953 from 14 January 1954. [1954 & 1986 University Calendars] He was appointed Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor on 1 July 1981. He was Deputy Vice-Chancellor from 6 December 1982 until his retirement in 1986. He received an Hon DLitt from the University in 1987 [2007 Calendar].
