The Fisher Tennis Courts were demolished to make way for the Chau Chak Wing Museum. The Museum comprises of the Nicholson Collection (previously housed in the Nicholson Museum), the Macleay Collection (previously housed in the Macleay Museum) and the University Art Collection.
The Chau Chak Wing Museum won at the 2021 Master Builders Association (MBA) of NSW Excellence in Construction Award. The building took out the excellence in Public Buildings for category for buildings costing $10,000,001 - $60,000,000.
