Papers re Don McLeod and the 1946 Pilbara Strike

This folder contains material relating to Don McLeod and the 1946 Pilbarra strike. 

The papers include correspondence between AP Elkin and McLeod (1944 /1946); a circular letter and resolutions by the Committee for Defence of Native Rights, Western Australia (May/June 1946); a newspaper review of Max Brown's book 'Black Eureka' (Sunday Telegraph 1 May 1977); and handwritten notes. The notes seem to have page numbers with contents annotations and the first page is headed with an annotation 'Brown's meeting with McLeod, 1953 or a little later in Port Hedland'. The notes could be annotations relating to to Brown's book.
