This item contains replies collated by AP Elkin to the Australian Board of Missions' questionnaire 'Inquiry into Conditions and Possibilities of Aborigines', a survey regarding the conditions of Aboriginal people in New South Wales. The survey was conducted in all states providing comparative data. The papers are divided into two parts, the first part starts with 'Section 1, Employment - Conditions & Results' which contains the names of many Aboriginal people and their employment details, the second part has no heading.

There are two more responses to this questionnaire in Series 733 Item 204.

Items 200 - 202 relate to this report, a duplicate copy of this item 201 is held in Item 202, however the pages in Item 202 are divided differently.
