The material forming this item is from a folder titled 'Mixed Bloods in Australia'. It contains a diagram on multiracial Aboriginal people; a letter to AP Elkin dated Casino 13/11/48 [unidentified signature] responding to queries by AP Elkin relating to class and "caste" relations; handwritten notes on pages marked Harney with extracts and number references, and a 6 pp. typescript titled 'Aborigines of Australia' discussing the Federal Western Australian and Qld governments' and the missionaries' work in relation to Aboriginal people.

The only dated item in this folder is the 1948 letter.
