This item contains minutes of meetings of the Australian Board of Missions (ABM) from 1940, 1944, 1946 and 1947. Included are papers relating to Forrest River Mission - reports by AP Elkin (1928) and Rev. A Capell (1939). It seems that these papers are related to the 1940 Australian Board of Missions meeting. AP Elkin annotated the front page of the 1940 minutes papers as follows 'Keep for study of Missionary policy amongst Aborigines. Gives reaction of various C.o.E. missionaries'.
