SENSITIVE CONTENT Observations on a New-Born Australian Aboriginal Infant by JB Cleland and Cecil J Hackett

According to the article, Mr F Garnett, Chief Protector of Aborigines, arranged the transfer of the Aboriginal woman from Point Mcleay to Adelaide, and variously before and during the birth to the Queen's Home, then a Home, then to the Queen's Home for the birth. It was at Adelaide that the study took place.

The mother gave birth to a stillborn son. She may have been a Ngarrindjeri woman given she came from Point Mcleay.
