1962 History Honours Course - Lecture Notes Kept by Ruth Frappell (Series 1716)

Typescript and handwritten lecture notes taken by Ruth Frappell during the fourth-year honours course in History which she and her husband undertook in 1962.

Ruth took notes on the principal seminar streams of the course, on historical methodology from classical antiquity to the twentieth century, presided over by Professor Majorie Jacobs and on Church, State and Society, presided over by Professor Jack McManners. 

The notes on the methodology seminars consist of 73pp, those on the Church, State and Society cover seminars 2 to 24, 43pp plus 2pp with reading lists for seminars 23 and 24. Notes for the first seminar are not included.
