This is another field notebook of Elkin's research on ceremonial songs and chants in Arnhem Land. On this 1952 visit, he has done further checking of earlier sound recordings made during his 1949 field trip. Many items have been 'ticked' in the index which may perhaps indicate where Elkin has cross checked them from his earlier recordings. (At p98 there is a single sheet of paper, handwritten on both sides, but only one side written by Elkin detailing a Wadamiri recording. The other side deals with sorcerers.)
