The item is an approximately 120 page long, typescript, draft report by Ralph Piddington on the social organisation of the Karajarri people. Social organisation includes totemism, kinship terms and language.

AR Radcliffe-Brown is handwritten on cover. This report is based on field research funded under a Field Research Grant in Anthropology from the Australian National Research Council (ANRC) and a Science Research Scholarship from Sydney University. Piddington was assisted by Marjorie Piddington.
