Elkin records the following language groups and places indicated below by page/heading: Miriwoong, Malngin, Gooniyandi - Kunan, Kija - Lunga, Bunuba, Walmajarri.

Approximately 40 page loose-leaf notebook bound together by string, entries are handwritten in lead pencil and pages are not numbered. The item was originally bound together with items 42 and 43 to make one notebook named 'Karadjeri Set 1928'. However, item 42 was removed due to its fragility and enclosed separately.

Items 41 and 43 are bound together. The items were split for digitisation and as the front cover is ripped this item was not rebound with items 41 and 43. The string was replaced with conservation tape.

Language content includes: kinship terms, word lists including for ornaments, flora and fauna, body parts, mention of burial, weaponry.
