Copies of Minutes, Agendas and Papers [New South Wales College of Paramedical Studies Council Personnel Committee/Cumberland College of Health Sciences Council Personnel Committee] (Series 1372)

This series consist of copies of minutes, agendas and papers for meetings of the Personnel Committee of Council of the New South Wales College of Paramedical Studies and Cumberland College of Health Sciences. The papers are loose and held together with file fasteners, the content of each file is marked with a file marker attached to the file.
After the establishment of the New South Wales College of Paramedical Studies as a Corporate College on 1 October 1974, the new Corporate Council of the College held its first meeting on 8 October 1974. At this meeting Council resolved to adopt the proposals of the College administration and the proposed terms of reference for the various Council Committees as set out in the document prepared for that meeting. These proposals were to be covered in by-laws, the drafting of which were to be deferred until the College had been in operation for 6 months. Some of the Committees were running already. One of these was the College Personnel Committee. This Committee held its inaugural meeting on 19 July 1973, its meetings were unrelated to the meetings and business of the Personnel Committee of Interim Council of the New South Wales College of Paramedical Studies in existence at that time. The Committee liaised with the Executive Board; a reporting line within the College structure for this Committee prior to October 1974 is not evident from the minutes.
The minutes for meetings from 19 Jul 1973 to 14 Oct 1974 are signed. Minutes with some annexures only are available for the years 1973 to 1976, from 1977 onward the papers for meetings contain agendas and agenda papers; the copies of minutes of meetings are part of the agenda papers. Minutes and papers for early 1977 are missing. Papers for meetings include papers like lists of appointments and resignations, application for study leave, study reports, reports of working parties and minutes of other College committees.
