Student Notebooks [Samuel Henry Egerton Barraclough] (Series 1424)

This series contains notebooks (13 volumes) which were probably compiled by Samuel HE Barraclough as an undergraduate student at the University of Sydney or a graduate student at Cornell University, USA. As well as the bound notebooks, the series contains loose folios clipped together when deposited.

Series 126, Volume l shows that in 1889, Barraclough passed first year Arts in English, Latin, French, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Natural History. In 1890, he passed second year engineering in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geology, Surveying, Applied Mechanics and Drawing and, in 1891, he passed third year Engineering in Mathematics, Architecture, History of Architecture, Building Construction, Materials and Structures and Engineering.
