Research Records [Samuel Henry Egerton Barraclough] (Series 1410)

This series contains correspondence including items collated and/or created in Samuel HE Barraclough's capacity as member of the Australian National Research Council (ANRC) and the New South Wales Committee of CSIR/CSIRO. The scripts include a manuscript written in ink when Barraclough was a graduate student in the USA; typescript and manuscript synopses of the literature relating to the instrument designed by Professor WE Dalby (FRS) for the Kolling Research Laboratory and known as the Dalby Straining Machine (there is also correspondence and other records relating to this instrument); an annotated typescript on 'An optical method of determining the deformations...flywheel'. The research publications have been arranged in a series with other publications by Barraclough.
