Papers Concerning St Paul's College [Adolphus Peter (AP) Elkin] (Series 757)

St Paul's College had been AP Elkin's college when he was an undergraduate student at the University of Sydney, and it was there he stayed when he was appointed to the Department in 1933 and was travelling back and forth from Morpeth. Elkin became a member of the College Council after his appointment to the Chair of Anthropology, and was its Chairman from 1962 to 1967.

This series contains correspondence, College publications, addresses of College members, photographs, building plans, Council minutes and meeting papers, and copies of the Constitution and By-Laws of the College.

Note that the records were sorted by the Department of Anthropology into artificial series based on subject prior to their deposit in the Archives in 1983. See Elkin's biographical entry for further details.
