The material in this item relates to the Luthigh, Uradhi, (Goongangi - Kunganji), Wik Mungkan, Djagaraga, Yumukuntyi, Buluguyban, Wulguru, and includes geneaologies, notes on social life, customs, linguistics and Aboriginal and Island Affairs administrative material.

7 bundles, approximately 61 pages. The bundles comprise folios, publications, handwritten notes and correspondence. The entries are handwritten in lead pencil, ink, and typescript.

Bundle 1, 1 page S. George's Mission Palm Island - the contents appear to present an update on events at the Mission.

Bundle 2, 3 pages Correspondence, 12.4.1935, from Lauriston Sharp, Mitchell River Mission, via Normanton, NQ. Sharp advises that he is sending, under separate cover, material on kinship systems, south and southeast of Normanton; and provides a hand drawn map of southern Cape York.

- The Queensland Lutheran, June 5, 1946. Page 2, Elkin writes [Barti Deemil - Woorabinda], and appears to correct linguistics.

- Stone Circles. Undated, unauthored. This item appears to be a photocopied newspaper article about stone circles 50 miles north-west of Pentland, north Queensland.

Bundle 5, 6 pages Letter to Elkin, 24.6.46, Yarrabah Mission, apparently from the Superintendant. Covering letter and a Table of Marriages 1939-1943.

Bundle 6, 7 pages Kunganji Tribe, C Grafton, from ERB Gribble's notes: 1. Genealogy: Goongangi, Cape Grafton; 2. Local language: time periods, weaponry, numerals, colours, persons, generalia, parts of body.

Bundle 7, 3 pages Notes by Gribble, ER and typed by Elkin. [Gribble, Ernest Richard Bulmer (1868-1957) Anglican Missionary, June 1893, took charge of Yarrabah following his father's death.]
