Field Notebook - North Coast NSW [Ngambaa, Awabakal, Ngaku, Dunghutti, Gumbaynggir, Kattang]

The notebook records Elkin's field trip circa 1936. There is a reference to Elkin being in Purfleet on 19 June 1936 (Page 42). The notebook includes recorded information and observations obtained by informants relating to education and employment of the Indigenous people in the area toured.

Pages 1 to 55 of the notebook are numbered. The remainder of the notebook is left blank. Entries are handwritten in lead pencil. 42 pages have been numbered in [ ] for digitisation.
