This series of files seems to have been created or maintained by the Registrar of the Conservatorium; many files consist of the Conservatorium's copies of correspondence to the Department of Education. The files are mainly concerned with staff appointments, awards and salaries, other subjects covered include performances, donations and the NSW State Orchestra, accommodation, AMEB, scholarships and pianos. Boxes 1 and 2 contain files numbered 1 to 38, these files have been rehoused in manilla folders and the numbers appear to have been assigned quite recently. The files in Box 3 have not been assigned numbers but have been included in this series as they appear to be related to the Registrar.

Boxes 4-7 are a later accession.
