Minutes [Board of Studies in Veterinary Science] [Board of Veterinary Science] [Department of Veterinary Science] [Faculty of Veterinary Science] (Series 36)

This series consists of minutes (hard copy with microfilm copies, and electronic) of the Department of Veterinary Science, the Faculty of Veterinary Science as well as of the Board of Studies in Veterinary Science. The early minutes of the Faculty, established in 1920, are contained in the same volume as the minutes of the Board. Only two meetings of the Board were minuted (October 1910 and March 1915), neither of which are signed. The Faculty was preceded by the Department (1909 to 1920), the Board (1910 to 1920), and the Board of Veterinary Science (1909 to 1920) within the Faculty of Science. The minutes of the Board of Veterinary Science are the official signed records of meetings. The minutes record the dates of the meetings, attendees, matters discussed in relation to the studies, lectures, examinations, degrees and licenses in veterinary science, such questions as may be referred to it by Senate, resolutions carried and defeated, and reports from various committees and subcommittees. The minutes are in bound volumes until May 2000. Loose office copies exist for the years 2000 to 27 August 2004, and 2008 (Acc 2807 located in B7).
