20th Jun 2024 8:55AMI remember the day that was filmed on the Botany Lawn. I was in my second year at the University of Sydney as a lecturer in plant science (School of Biological Sciences) working in the the Macleay Building. I recall that the film crew required access to electricity from the teaching laboratory facing the lawn and that they put some covering on the inside of the windows. If I recall correctly, my colleagues working in the Macleay Building had not been given warning that this was to take place and that it had been arranged and approved by another section of the University without communication to those who would impacted on the day.
